Decorative Pomegranate Tree
$75.00
Order for pickup only at 185 Queen Street East, Toronto.
Pomegranate trees are grown not only for their juicy fruit, but also make attractive ornamental specimens with orange-red blossoms prior to fruiting, set off upon glossy, deciduous green leaves.
Pomegranate trees in containers can either be grown indoors given sufficient arid provisions, in a sunroom, or ideally outdoors during part of the year and moved indoors when cold weather starts.
Pomegranate trees go through a semi dormancy phase once the weather starts to cool. (Hence, do not place near a vent, as this plant is sensitive to temperature changes.)
The fruit is edible, but the ornamental variety lacks the size and sweetness of a regular pomegrante.
Plants and pots sold separately.
