Pomegranate Tree
$45.00
Pomegranate trees are grown not only for their juicy, but also make attractive ornamental specimens with orange-red blossoms prior to fruiting, set off upon glossy, deciduous green leaves.
Pomegranate trees in containers can either be grown indoors given sufficient arid provisions, in a sunroom, or ideally outdoors during part of the year and moved indoors when cold weather starts.
Pomegranates are self-pollinating, so you only need one to set fruit. They are relatively hardy and will bear fruit within the second year.
Pomegranate trees go through a semi dormancy phase once the weather starts to cool. (Hence, do not place near a vent, as this plant is sensitive to temperature changes.)
Plants and pots sold separately.

Bring the tree indoors in the fall, before the first cold snap. Decrease the time outdoors slowly until the tree is acclimated to staying indoors. Keep the soil consistently moist.
