Helena Pot

$46.00

Clay pearling along Helena’s top edge gives this pot a soft and classic look. North of Rome lies the small town of Di Bolzena, a place once filled with potters and the home of Robert Rosso, one of the best potters. Taking inspiration from ancient Greek Designs, Rosso created a pot with a distinctive clay pearling top, which was popular throughout the 1800s. Quite some years ago, Bergs Potter's inspiration arose and they designed the Helena Pot, and Tuscan potters are now making it again.

Each pot includes a drainage hole and matching saucer, which is water-proof. High-fired terracotta is durable and permeable, developing a unique patina over time. These pots are intended for indoor use. This is a handmade product, variation between pots and what is pictured here is normal.

Since 1942, Bergs Potter have created pots your plants love. Their raw, natural plant pots are designed in Denmark and hand- crafted with love, from the best Italian premium quality clay, at a small, family owned workshop in Tuscany. The clay is fired at very high temperatures, giving the pots a natural strength and a special treatment ensures that our saucers are water-proof, making our pots suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The high density of the clay, makes the pots frost resistant and allows air to the roots and retain moisture due to the superlative quality of the clay, thus giving plants the optimum growth conditions.
