Rare and unusual, Clown Fig is one of the most beautiful, variegated ficus in cultivation. The broad green leaves have white splashes throughout creating an attractive specimen plant. The decorative, non-edible, fruit is variegated in tones of cream, green and pink and it forms in summer near the growing tips adding to its ornamental appeal. It’s best to grow in a clay pot and allow the soil to dry to the touch between waterings to prevent root issues. It grows rapidly in summer and the size can easily be maintained by pruning.

Plants and pots sold separately.

Although drought tolerant, do not allow your Ficus to dry out too much. In general, Ficus should be kept slightly moist during the growing season. Water when the top 2" of soil are dry. They do not like wet feet, so if 30 minutes after watering you see water in the saucer, pour it away.
