The Brazilian Tree Fern is an elegant, upright fern species native to the subtropical forests of South America. It slowly develops a trunk which grows to reach up to four feet in height. It has a short stature, along with a compact canopy of fronds.
New foliage emerges in rich shades of red and pink and matures into dark green, glossy, crinkled fronds. Brazilian Tree Fern has an upward pointing rosette of fronds that sit atop a dark, short trunk. Plants are moderately low-maintenance and appreciate indirect light and consistent moisture.
