Also known as a “Samar Lance”, Alocasia Scalperum is diminutive in size with leathery, arrowhead-shaped leaves in a deep, dark green hue. A closer look reveals intricately-detailed veining, etching the surface of each glossy leaf. Truly unique, it's leaves twist about at random and curl down around the edges.

Plants and pots sold separately.

Bright indirect light.

Water weekly, keeping the soil moist, but not soggy. Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil is dry.

No - Can cause mouth irritation and digestive reaction.

If your Alocasia drops its leaves, don't give up! They grow from bulb-like corms and can sprout new leaves under the right conditions. These plants like very consistent conditions, overall, when it comes to watering, temperature, and light, and they need to have good drainage.
