The signature rope edge on this tall, slender pot is inspired by the Roman Empire. Since 1800 this type of decorative pots has been produced in the city of Modena in the Emilia- Romagna region of Tuscany. Bergs has designed the pot in Denmark, while it is produced today in Tuscany using time-honoured techniques.
Each pot includes a drainage hole and matching saucer, which is water-proof. High-fired terracotta is durable and permeable, developing a unique patina over time. These pots are intended for indoor use. This is a handmade product, variation between pots and what is pictured here is normal.
