The flaming sword plant (Bromeliad) is one of the most popular vriesea bromeliads grown indoors. This species features a sword-like flower head that can grow up to 2ft tall and attractive mottled leaves. The flowers themselves are actually bright yellow and open off either side of the head. The flower head will last for 2 to 4 months.
