Scilla Leopard Lily (Ledebouria Socialis) or Silver quill are a type of succulent and does well with minimal watering. Native to the savannas of South Africa. It stores water in the bulb to survive the long drought seasons. During winter, which is the resting period of these plants. Water it sparingly, like a succulent and only when the top inch of the soil feels fully dry to the touch.

Bright indirect to limited direct sun

Water weekly, make sure soil is completely dry in the top inch before watering. Treat this plant like a succulent.

No - This plant is toxic. Even though there is no scientific documentation about it's toxicity, most other succulents from the same family are considered toxic. Therefore we can reasonably assume that the Ledebouria Socialis is also toxic.

Reduce watering in winter to enter dormancy and make sure to allow top soil to dry out well between waterings.
