Alocasia Regal Shield is a cross between an Alocasia Black Velvet and an Alocasia Odora taking its velvety blackness from one and its largeness from the other. If you grow Alocasia regal shield under the right care conditions, this aroid rapidly grows to a height of 4 – 5 feet (1.2 – 1.5 meters) and spreads out laterally with the leaves supported by long and erect petioles.
